Tobías joined the firm in 2005 and has advised clients in multiple areas of law. He has accumulated experience dealing with real estate, intellectual property, and commercial law matters and with various contractual forms, particularly as they relate to new ventures and start-ups.
He obtained his Licentiate degree (JD equivalent) from the University of Costa Rica (2011) with an honorary distinction for his graduation thesis, which explored corporate structuring through alternative financing systems in Costa Rica. He also obtained a diploma in Business Administration from the INCAE Business School (2011) and a specialization in Notarial Law from the La Salle University, where he was that year’s valedictorian (2012).
